White and Black

In the first poster, I turned the tomato behind it into a cut shape and can rotate, like a separate earth; and next to it, there was a group of colonists pointing to the big tomato. I want to use this visual effect to metaphorize the harm caused by capitalist plunder to Native Americans. On the second poster, I drew a group of slaves holding a huge tomato. And there is also a supermarket label on the upper part of the tomato. I added a dynamic effect of picking up the surface of tomatoes with a knife to reveal the pulp. I want to show through this element that we can buy tomatoes as commodities in the supermarket now, which has a very terrrible history. For the third poster, I made a tomato in my hand. The surface of the tomato has a microcosm of the world map. In terms of dynamic effects, I made tomatoes show the visual effect of bursting, which is used to show the process of the former world civilization being destroyed little by little in the hands of the colonizers, which is thought-provoking. In the fourth poster, I made a tomato into something similar to a container. In the tomato, I drew a boat floating on the quiet water, but outside the tomato, a pair of black hands were holding the tomato on the rough sea. I made the sea surface into a dynamic effect to increase the severity of the sea surface, so as to express that the colonists ignored the life and death of slaves and only thought about their own interests. In addition, I also made a black series. In the first picture, I used black as the background and placed a crystal clear tomato on the picture. I transformed the image of the slave into a miniature and mapped it on the surface of the tomato. At the same time, I recorded a video of burning the surface of the tomato with a lighter, which overlapped with the tomato in the picture, making the whole expression more tension and reflecting the atrocities of the colonists against the aboriginal slaves. In the second picture, I drew a palm with a white brush and placed a tomato in the palm of his hand, which looked like a tomato held by a weak person. Inspired by the road sign on the tomato, I added a white horizontal bar to the tomato, which looks like a no-passing road sign. Through the animation, we can see that the white horizontal strip is not only like a road sign, but also like a band-aid. After being uncovered, the damage to the surface of the tomato gradually became larger, which not only reflects the irreparable damage to the lives of the colonists to the aborigines, but also shows that the colonists ignored the sovereignty of other people's territories and entered the plunder at will.
