Moonflower House｜Cheng（承）

During the poster design process, I incorporated the design elements of a map into each poster and put them together in a collage style, each representing a different journey with a different map and pattern. After outputting the posters, I used my estimation of the moonflower's journey to design a story, which was created as a tri-folded page with chronological background images as well as narrative images, and the back was designed to show the moonflower's process of growth and integration. The final section echoes the implicit themes of globalisation and cultural diffusion behind the migration of the moonflower, and suggests that the migration of the moonflower reveals the significance of diversity and coexistence. The moonflower not only witnesses the spread of culture, but is also a symbol of its return and re-creation. "It departs from here and returns in a new guise, blooming with a fragrance that belongs to the future."
